We've had a shop front makeover! (yes, another one! It's a slow but worthwhile process)

We were closed on Monday 12th July so that we could have the inside front display window converted from a low level display to a raised display bar. This is just the first step in our plan to making the inside of 30 Queen Street the perfect place for those who love art and books to visit.

This isn't the end of our refurb plans either, we've got more plans in the pipeline. Last year we focused on making the outside front smarter; adding the planter, re-painting the black woodwork and having the shop info put on the windows. This year our focus is on the inside of the shop making it as spacious and open plan as possible, in the hope this will give you our customers the best possible shopping experience.

We want to say a big thank you to BRB Carpentry who did a fantastic job repurposing the old wooden slats into this brilliant raised display. They also built us a window front bookcase as you can see below which is perfect to display a selection of books from 'Betty's Books' this range of books will continue to increase over the coming months.

We'd love to hear what you think of our updates, let us know in the comments.
