Hello, how are you getting on with making a start on your Christmas makes? I have some more inspiration for this week using Imagine Design Create Bauble Silhouette stencil, this is a great stencil set that comes with the masks for the snowflakes as well as the baubles. I have also used a few other Imagine Design Create goodies.

xmas baubles

For this card i used both the Bauble Silhouette stencil and Festive Florals stamp set. I created the border using both the singular branch stamp and the branch from the largest flower, repeatedly stamping with mowed lawn distress ink. I stamped the flowers from the Festive Florals through the Bauble silhouette with distress ink, I then mixed Super Thick Slap it On with a fine crystal glitter and apply this over the top to create these semi frosted baubles, which i cut out and added to my card. A little doodling and a merry christmas sentiment and its finished.

For this card i lightly blended distress ink over my background before blending distress oxides through the Bauble Silhouette stencil, before removing the stencil i heat embossed the small grungy stars from the Star Mix stamp set. I then covered my baubles with the masks from the set and stamped the large grungy star stamp from the Star mix stamp set in distress oxide ink around the outside edge of the piece to create a border. I then removed the masks and stamped over the baubles with Imagine Design create Nesting Circles and Rectangles stamp set, and doodled in the tops and string. I heat embossed the Noel sentiment from Festive Florals and the edges and finished off with a few gems here and there.

And lastly for today is this card, I masked of an area in the centre of my card and blended Chipped Sapphire distress ink into the opening, after removing the mask i stamped around the edge with a stamp from the Festive Corners stamp set and the same distress ink. I used texture paste and silver embossing powder to create the textured snow flakes from the Bauble silhouette stencil. I finished this card by heat embossing merry christmas from the Festive Florals and adding a few gems.

I hope you have like todays blog, i'm looking forward to sharing with you again next week. Eli x
