  1. Bookshop in Seaton, Devon

    Are you trying to find a bookshop in Seaton, Devon? Well you have found us. 

    We are Betty's Books, a bookshop based on Queen Street in Seaton, Devon. We are just a short walk from the seafront so visiting us makes a lovely day out. Alongside books we also sell art and craft supplies as our shop is shared with Devon Art Supplies. 

    In our bookshop you'll be able to find books for adults, teens and a small selection for children. We have a great selection of young adult books so if you are a young reader, or know one then coming to visit us is a must. We also sotck puzzle books, logic books, colouring books and activity books. There is a selection of maps and walking guides too. 

    Our bookshop is also part of the National Book Tokens scheme which means you can buy and redeem your national book tokens here in store. 

    We have a great selection of fiction and non-fiction in our little bookshop so there is hopefully something for everyone. 

    If you are a book lover but the people you are visiting Seaton with are not it is still worth bringing them along to our Queen Street shop as there is plenty more to see and we have a quiet little courtyard garden people are welcome to sit and wait in.

    If you haven't already seen the news we've joined up with Seaton Nub News to host a monthly bookclub. I, Kerri-Ann, will be writing a post for them each month giving a round up of the books i think you should know about. I'll be sharing reviews, recommendations and bookish updates too. 

    You can read my first Seaton Nub News post here. 

    Anyone who knows me knows i love to read books, talk about books and write about books so this was a great opportunity for me to reach even more people and share my love of literature.

    If you can't find the title you are looking for here on our website and you don't feel like waiting for us to order it in for you, you could order it via our link with Bookshop.org here.  Every purchase made using our bookshop.org link gives us a small commission percentage. Though it is not as much as purchasing directly every penny really does count. We are so grateful to each and every one of you who supports our little family business.

    Today is our first time celebrating 'Bookshop Day' since we re-branded to add Betty's Books to our store here at 30 Queen Street in Seaton. Though we have always stocked books here previously these focused on arts and crafts to link with our products at Devon Art Supplies. This year though we expanding the books on offer and we have re-branded as Betty's Books and Devon Art Supplies.

    We invest in new signage to showcase this including a great new swing sign so that people can spot us from down the bottom of Queen Street and see what our main products are: Books & Art Supplies. 

    We hope to see lots of you visiting us today for Bookshop Day, there are plenty of special offers and freebies available.
